PENTECOST

The power of the Holy Spirit, the coming of God into our hearts, and the blessings of God felt in our everyday life, this is what we experience each day when we are open to the miracle of Pentecost.  As we move from Spring into the Summer months, let us remember that God is with us in all we are, in all we do and in all we fail to do.  To abide in God and he in us takes the form of community.  Let us worship together, work together and live together for the Glory of the Lord.

Can We Change?

Why is it so easy to create bad habits and yet so hard to build good habits.  Each year people make New year resolutions to eat better, lose weight, exercise more or just to try and be a better person in our relationships.  Also around this time as we think about the season of Lent, we think about what we might give up or do something better, and invariably we fail after the first week or so.  By the power of the Holy Spirit many of us have had a physic and spiritual change in the way we think and act as Christians.  We have been able to do with God things that we find so difficult to do alone.  This Lenten season, try and ask God for help in your daily routine and great things will come to pass.
